Bridgestone-Firestone Recalls 36,000+ Truck Tires

Tire manufacturer Bridgestone-Firestone North America has issued a recall of more than 36,000 FS561 truck tires size 255/70R22.5 manufactured between January 25th, 2015 and January 27th, 2016. Affecting the United States and Canada, the tires have been recalled for “possible tread separation or detachment due to scrubbing during use,” causing tire blowouts and crashes. The recall was issued due to an increased number of warranty returns of tires used on trailers.

Bridgestone-Firestone will provide free replacements to those who own these tires. Click here for more information on this recall.
